-Hola, Néih hóu, Bula, Bonjour, Aloha, Konnichi wa, Mogethin, Kia Ora, Hi-
No matter what your language, cadence, or creed, I'm glad you're here =)

"She's tired of flat lands and cornfields, Seashells traced in snow. She wants more bugs on her windshield, She don't want to go alone...She talks about her waterfall fountain, And her house out on the bay. She's in love with broken glass mountains, Fireplace cafes."

On choosing friends

"It seems like most relationships are based on who you are and what you do at the moment. They're based on events or common interest. You can be a good friend with someone for a couple of years. Then you realized both of you have changed, and it's done.
What I want is people who I can grow with. People who motivate and inspire me. People who support me through the growing pains. People who know me well enough to point out my bullshit and pursue my heart, even when I'm trying to be a hermit.
There are very few of those people around. Very few people with the understanding, stamina, and the ambition."

-From a very dear friend of mine (I have smart friends ;P)

I'm not saying lose faith in people - nothing like that. But maybe be careful who you choose to lean on. If you can look into someone's life (their behavior, stability, etc) and see that it is not consistent, you can still love on them and be friends, but maybe that's not a person you want to really count on to be steadfast for you.

Thoughts?

Extra! Extra!

It is past my bed time, but I got some news today. I didn't get the job I applied for (to be in the shift I have been filling in for permanently) - which is a little disappointing. BUT I can almost taste late nights and mornings again =D

We don't know who got it yet, maybe someone will show up for work at 5:30 tomorrow =P
We shall see.
But soon I will be back to my normal shift, and I would like to promise that I won't whine about it...but that would most likely be a promise quickly broken.

Anyhow, I shall be with you again soon.

Ouch - Just 5 more weeks of Ouch

[Wakes up] Why does my neck hurt?

Shoulder Helper #1: Probably because that is your math text book and not a pillow.

Face ----> palm

Half way through the term - half way.

And then California to see my very dear friend *crosses fingers* too bad money has to be a factor in travel.

Half way. Good luck to the rest of you sleep deprived and stiff necked students. I feel your pain (in a very literal sense this morning).
